Terms of Service

December 30, 2025

Summary

Face Up provides immersive simulations designed for training and skills development. We operate within a strict GDPR and AI Act compliance framework. Your data is hosted in Europe, encrypted, and is never used to train our AI models. To support learning, the service may include video analysis and recording features for trainer debriefing. These are automatically deleted after 7 days unless specifically configured otherwise.

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Face Up platform. They apply generally to all users. For our corporate clients, these terms are supplemented by specific contractual agreements which take precedence.

2. Services and Purposes (AI Act)

The platform offers AI-powered role-playing simulations (voice, video, text) and analysis tools.

3. Confidentiality and Data Protection

4. Security and Credentials

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials. Face Up implements rigorous security measures, including encryption of data at rest and in transit to protect exchanges.

5. Intellectual Property

Face Up remains the exclusive owner of the platform, its algorithms and the content made available. Users have a personal, non-transferable right of use within the scope of their training activities.

6. Liability

The provider is bound by an obligation of means. Analyses generated by AI are provided for informational purposes to support learning and do not, in themselves, constitute automated legal or professional decisions. Except in cases of gross negligence, Face Up's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

7. Amendments and Applicable Law

We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect the evolution of our technologies and the law. These terms are governed by French law, and any dispute shall be brought before the courts of Paris.
